Monday again :(
Sunday....diet fail! The least said about it the better but I enjoyed it :D
Monday comes around so fast, another dark and miserable morning with the prospect of a typically busy week at work looming large. The thought of riding the wee whizzy Brack pony is just about keeping me motivated, as is the fact that I'm skintaroo so can't afford any nice treats anyway!
Brekkie - cereal
Snacks - 2 x bananas
Lunch - jkt, cheese and salad
Tea - tomato soup, toast, twirl.
Planned to do some bits on the Wii but have decided to read my new horsey mag instead!

Drizzly mizzley Saturday
Today I was awoken early (3.30am to be precise) by the sound of my OH snoring. Oh wait! OH was at work you say? WTF? Aha its Iggy downstairs shaking the whole house!!!
Wet and soggy day today. Feed dogs, walk dogs then off to the soggy stables to play with damp ponies. Great fun :) Really wish I had longer legs though as my trousers were dragging round the floor getting wet and mucky!
Igg had a lovely role in the muck heap and the boys seemed happy in the rain, dozing despite the wind and wet in the middle of the field. Frank looked lovely in his lilac rug, Brack is just a grub!

Friday is a day of rest!
No work on a Friday!! Usually struggle on days when I'm not so busy but managed-

Tea - 2 burgers and rolls with cheese (didnt eat them all) and galaxy thingy
Think I'm coming down with a cold :( Boooooo
Nice ride on Frank, 2 laps of village, Bracken is a spanner and Iggy snores too loud!

So hungry!!!
Grrrrr freezing start to the day, dark and windy at the yard. Spent 30mins dodging Braken as he bucked and farted and cantered 10m circles around the field!
Eating today -
Brekkie - muesli
Snacks - banana, cereal bar, 3 jaffa cakes (blame the Mindfulness practise again!!!)
Lunch - jkt, cheese and salad
Tea - Home made lasagne (no yukky white sauce stuff) and a twirl.
Hooray for working a 4 day week...might even brave the Wii tomorrow to see how big my bones are!
7/10 (lose one point for the jaffas!), waiting for the exercise fairy to visit and motivate me to move!

Day 3 and counting....
Another busy day.....
Breakfast - cereal
Snacks - cereal bar, apple, banana
Lunch - Jacket with cheese and salad
Tea - soup, bread, galaxy thing (I'll be bored of this by the end of the week.....but I'm skint!)
Plus - 3 mini donuts eaten in the interests of engaging with mindfulness exercises with my patients ("Honest Guv!") - didnt enjoy them ;-)
Typically no exercise, Iggy's still a tw@t ( chewed bankcard, smashed ash-tray today!) and I want to sleep for England!
7/10 for getting to Wednesday still motivated!!! Excellent , hubby has just put on "Man Vs Food" - I'm drooling!

The Iggy Effect
What better way to relax after a stressful day at work....coming home to see what the Igg-meister has destroyed today!!
Laptop on the floor - check
200 fags chewed up - check
Bottle of sugar soap spilled on floor - check
Toys nicely buried in bed - check
God bless naughty puppies!
The sugar and caffeine withdrawals appear to have started judging by the headache at work!!

Day one almost over and out........

Lunch - jacket with cheese and beans, banana
Tea - soup and brown bread, galaxy xmas thingy
Not too bad, didn't get up at 5am for a run (who'd have thought?) and no exercise. Managed to avoid the biscuits when stressed at work and the 20p bag of donuts at the co-op.
Pony club camp booked.......motivation remains shaky!
7/10 - could do better !

Contemplation......
Monday is coming around again fast, another opportunity to start a diet, another opportunity to fail!!!
Reasons to lose weight ......to look and feel better, to be able to ride more / better, to be able to ride both ponios, to prove I can actually do it!!!
Takeaway pizza for tea (oops) and then getting ready for healthy eating! To join a gym or not is the million dollar question......
